DMCA Policy
Dumpling Soup respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement reported to our designated Copyright Agent.
Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement
If you believe that copyrighted material has been used on Dumpling Soup in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you must send a written notification to our Copyright Agent that substantially includes the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed: Provide a detailed description of the copyrighted work, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing: Provide sufficient information to allow us to locate the material on the Dumpling Soup website (e.g., the URL(s) of the specific page(s) where the material appears).
- Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good faith belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy and authorization: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Your physical or electronic signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to file a counter-notification with us. Your counter-notification must be a written communication that substantially includes the following:
- Identification of the removed or disabled material: Identify the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your contact information: Your name, address, and telephone number.
- Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Dumpling Soup may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of alleged infringement.
- Your physical or electronic signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
